Overview
The Bitcoin.com Wallet app, available on iOS and Android, serves over 65 million wallets created and 1M+ MAU. It enables buying, selling, exchanging, and managing cryptocurrencies.
The main task was to create a smooth and straightforward experience for interacting with the card to stimulate users' engagement in the app and increase the number of transactions with cryptocurrency.
The product should be consistent and be in line with the main application.

Problem statement
Based on prior user research and feedback, we've identified a common issue: users resort to multiple apps and exchanges to convert crypto to fiat. They also expressed interest in transferring funds within the app. This aligns with our strategy of providing a full crypto management service.

Neo-banks have firmly entered our everyday life and forever changed our perception of how financial services should operate - quickly, reliably, securely.
Similarly, while working on creating a convenient platform for cryptocurrency management, we set out to create a very simple and user-friendly functionality for a debit card, so that using our application would be as easy and understandable as using a familiar neo-bank.

Building a seamless crypto-to-fiat experience required close collaboration between multiple teams.
The Design & Product team led research, UX, UI design, and testing to ensure the product met user expectations and business goals.
The Tech team focused on implementation, translating designs into a secure, scalable, and performant product.
The 3rd-party partners managed compliance and SDK integration, ensuring regulatory requirements were met and external systems connected smoothly.
Building a seamless crypto-to-fiat experience required close collaboration between multiple teams.

After finalizing the UI design for all primary flows, we proceeded with usability testing to detect significant bugs and inconsistencies.
It helped us identify several areas of friction, surface confusing interactions, and validate core assumptions. The feedback provided valuable input that guided our next iteration and helped us improve clarity and ease of use across the main flows.
