Overview
The Bitfury Group is one of the largest full-service blockchain technology companies in the world.
My primary challenge was redesigning and revising their product Bitfury Monitor, a client monitoring app that will display necessary information, parameters, and KPI of the system in real-time, according to the new brand guidelines, and provide usability and structure improvements.
Problem statement
The main task was to re-think existing applications, define main pains and UX issues and provide a functional solution for mobile, iOS, and desktop to cover all platforms. One more challenge was redesigning the platform according to the new branding guidelines and balancing beauty and functionality.
Approach
The audit of the current system helped identify key problems in order to improve usability and consistency across platforms.
Prototyping
Based on the conducted audit, I developed wireframes for the main pages with updated navigation and structure.
The wireframes were designed for both desktop and mobile applications (iOS).
At this stage, final adjustments were made to the structure and necessary information for display.
Solution
After the approval of the wireframes, I proceeded with the design development for desktop and iOS.
Taking into account the recommendations for the overall stylistic approach from the new branding, I created a brand design concept that aligned as closely as possible with the new stylistic direction and approved structure.
Outcome
I worked closely with product managers and the marketing team from the client's side to get much more profitable results and align with all product aspects.
We defined main pains, re-think old information architecture, and as a result, launched a new product solution that covered desktop, mobile, and iOS platforms based on customers' requests and market changes.
As a result, I created designs that covered all platforms (mobile, iOS, and web) and implemented new brand guidelines.
